About Me

Inspiring learners through innovative teaching methods and cutting edge projects.

I am a UK-based educator who taught there for 11 years before deciding to shift horizons and travel the world. I currently work at Brighton College Bangkok and prior to that taught at Harrow Beijing and The British School, New Delhi as part of their Leadership Team. My work with them led to the Best British School in the World Award in 2018.

I was formally recognised as a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching UK in 2020. I have also been recognised as a Top 30 global education influencer by ISC Research two years in a row. I was a finalist for the EdTech Leadership Awards for 2024 and 2023 and was shortlisted for the Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Awards 2023.

"Passionate about learning rather than teaching and as such try to foster the same enthusiasm in my students."

I have worked previously as the Director of ICT at The British School in Kathmandu, Nepal where our award-winning student-empowered work in the immediate aftermath of the Nepal earthquake supported the construction of schools in remote districts and also the local community. I was part of the Extended Leadership Team at Canons High School in Harrow and before that the Head of ICT at Lampton School in London. I have been a Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) representative with experience in training others in the field of e-safety. I currently hold a National Online Safety certification. I read for a Masters in Education from Middlesex University and a BSc. (Hons) in Physics with Computer Science from Brunel University. I have also completed the National College of School Leadership’s Aspiring Leaders course aiming to develop future school leaders in the UK.

I am an ISTE educator, Google Certified Teacher, Common Sense Ambassador, Book Creator Ambassador, Apple Teacher along with a Microsoft Innovative Educator and as such can integrate software systems across the board effectively. I am also School AI level 2 certified and have completed my Generative Al for Educators certification.

The only school teacher to be recognised in the top 50 list of global e-learning influencers for 2019 and awarded Teacher of the Year 2019 and the Global Teacher Award 2019.

I am an International Award winner two years in a row for the use of digital technology in learning and implementing an outstanding initiative to support student safeguarding.

In addition, our team was awarded the International Award in 2022 for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice for our remote learning provision during the pandemic for special educational needs pupils.

My current projects involve the use of AI and machine learning in education along with the use of augmented reality technology for supporting language development.
